Hi there I see from the website there are no cider makers in Scotland but, i live in the north east of Scotland ,40 miles north of Inverness and this year I MADE CIDER!!!
There was a slight delay in waiting for the apples due to the weird climate this year but eventualy they came out and i set to work. I had 5 buckets of apples from 1 big tree and 4 very small trees which i was a bit annoyed with at first because the numbers had dropped dramaticly from about 8-9 buckets to just 5!
Then i pressed them by hand and the 18 pints are now sitting in kilner jars under my Kitchen table!
