Hello, Ive been making cider in small amounts for the last 5 years, about 5-10 gallons at a time. i want to increase this amount and even looking into the possibility of selling it to a local pub or at farmers markets. ive looked into the personnal licence and other legal requirements. As for equipment i can hire a scratter and a press locally but i want to know if the large blue hdpe barrels could be used as fermentation vessels and whether other small scale production people use these.
